  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and demonstrating how products meets the customers needs to existing customers and prospective customers
  • Perform client and prospect demonstrations (both virtual and in-person)
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and supporting the post-sales team
  • Provide coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills
  • Working in the customer satisfaction in terms of technical needs, quality, and delivery
  • Help clients solve problems with installed products, assist in deployment and configuration
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Share sales and product insights and feedback with product management team to facilitate new features and updates
  • Liaising with other members of the Sales Team, Marketing, Product Management, and other Technical Experts
  • Use technical skills to explain the benefits of products
  • Strong problem-solving skills, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Technical Understanding, Verbal Communication


  • Post-secondary education in IT
  • 5+ years in customer facing role in IT industry (technical support, system administration, system engineering, field support)
  • Must be proficient in all operating systems (windows, linux, mac, unix)
  • Must have firm understanding of TCP/IP networks
  • Experience with deployment or using virtual environments
  • Able to present our product line clearly and be able to adapt to the prospect needs
  • Must be able to grasp hard concepts and deal with dynamic customer relationships
  • Engage an audience, most often virtually, while adapting solutions on the fly to make our product lines work within an environment
  • Able to adsorb large amounts of complex, technical information and arrange the information accurately/concisely visually through presentations, depending on the audience or activity (i.e. demo versus internal training versus external training, etc.)
